Rooted in the Sand, Designing for the City

Born in Virginia Beach and raised as a military brat, my childhood was a series of global transitions. Before I was even a year old, I was on the coast of Spain. My journey eventually took me from the bustling streets of London and Japan to my high school years in the beach town of Michigan. This nomadic upbringing gave me a “worldview” before I even knew what the word meant, sparking a fascination with art and a deep-seated adaptability that defines my design work today.

Whether it was the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, Lake Michigan, or the white sands of the Gulf Coast, I have been defined by beach life since day one. My roots are in the sand; the bright, clear aesthetic of the Emerald Coast is baked into my visual DNA and is the reason you’ll see that coastal imagery woven throughout my portfolio.

After earning my degree from the University of West Florida, I spent my early career in Pensacola before moving to Atlanta. I may have traded the coast for the concrete, but I brought that beach life perspective with me. I use that same coastal clarity to create clean, intentional designs for brands in the heart of the city.
